Mr. Walid Abboud:
Private apartment, Metn - Lebanon |
| 2004 |
Interior design
Restoration of a 1950's home. Special attention was directed to the service areas (kitchen, entrance hall, guest restroom and children's restroom). In addition, the focus was on the enveloping materials of the saloons and main entrance (parquet and false ceiling). The client had requested that the old furniture be preserved but modernize the spirit of the house.
Doors throughout the house were studied and redesigned in oak, keeping in the same style as the existing closets that dated back to 1950.
Painting on the walls coupled with an impressive library and new wooden main entrance door that replaced an old metal and glass one, the entire furniture tissue re-design in sync with the styling of new curtains, all gave a new style to the old furniture.
