Illustration, how it all started Book cover, Jules Vernes, "a 15 years old captain" Series: "Chefs-d'oeuvre de tous les temps Librairie Samir Editions. This was my first book cover 1991 Project was requested by a writer who happens to be a personal friend. With no prior expertise in illustration work, that was quite an adventure, which led to many other works.

Series: “Chefs-d’oeuvre de tous les temps” Librairie Samir Editions. Intended audience was 10 to 12 years old readers. These four covers, represent some of several books, I illustrated, belonging to this series. The 4 books met great success at the sales office, due to their covers. .Inside drawings from the book entitled: “Colomba”. Some books required black and white drawings on the inside.

Series “Grammaire Arabe" Librairie Samir Editions. Intended audience was 6 to 9 years old readers. Inside drawings. Front and back covers.

Series “Calcul et Observations” Nouvelle Librairie Raymond Editions. Intended audience was 5 to 6 years old readers. Requested was a line-drawing, to be colored at the press. I tried to render a math book, an enjoyable experience for a 5 yrs old child who is just starting his/her studies.

Series “Pour Toujours” Librairie Samir Editions. Intended audience was 14 to 18 years old readers. Abou El Alaa Plato Gibran Ibn El Roumi Modern bright covers to attract a younger audience to read an older historic content.

Series “Les mille et une nuits” Librairie Samir Editions. Intended audience was 10 to 12 year old readers. Very successful series, full of orientalism. Black and white drawings for inside illustrations. These are 4 out of a much larger series.

Series “Contes de tous les jours” Librairie Samir Editions. Inside drawings. Front and back cover.

Series “Les Contes de l’Orient” Librairie Samir Editions. A series of fun-filled 10 books, with rich colored drawings on the inside. Intended audience is 7 to 10 years old.

Series “L’abeille dorée” Librairie Samir Editions. A series of fun-filled books, with rich colored drawings on the inside. Intended audience is 7 to 10 years old.

I plan to create my own illustration books, for children aged 3 to 5.
Theme: Explaining the daily world around them, which is quite mysterious, still for the younger mind.
